Visit Dare County Detention Center
Family and friend visitation is limited to people on the inmate's visitation list, and the list can contain no more than five names. Adult visitors must show proper identification, such as a driver's license, DMV special ID, military ID, or passport. Visitors are subject to contraband search and outstanding-warrant check. Dress restrictions are specific. The jail lists mini skirts, short shorts, exposed stomach or cleavage, swimsuits, and bathing suits as inappropriate. Dare County Detention Bond
Bond questions route to the magistrate and court process. Dare County states that cash bond may be paid in full to the magistrate at the Detention Center.
